Upcoming Public Hearing – Wednesday, December 4, 2024

Manatee County invites you to an upcoming public hearing. This hearing is being conducted to present the Preferred Alternative and all analysis to date, as well as give interested persons an opportunity to express their views for the official hearing record concerning the location, conceptual design, and social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements.

In accordance with Section 4(f) of the Department of Transportation Act of 1966, Manatee County is seeking comments concerning the effects of the project on the activities, features, and attributes of Fort Hamer Park and Hidden Harbor Park.

The hearing materials are now available for viewing (see the Resources page).

Here are the ways you can participate in the upcoming hearing. You do not have to attend the live event in order to submit a comment.

November 13, 2024: Technical Documents Posted
Online copies of the project technical documents are currently available on the Resources page, which are also available from November 13, 2024 to December 16, 2024 at: Rocky Bluff Branch Library, 6750 US 301 North, Ellenton, FL 34222 and at the Palmetto Branch Library, 923 6th Street West, Palmetto, FL 34221.

November 27, 2024: Hearing Materials Posted
All hearing materials are currently available on the Resources page. You will still be able to submit comments if you are unable to attend the live event.

December 4, 2024: Hearing (In-Person and Live Online)
You can participate in-person or live online. The information presented during either format will be the same and all attendees will have the opportunity to comment.

You are able to provide written comments about the project at any time, but comments must be submitted by December 16, 2024, to be included in the formal record for this hearing. Upcoming Public Meeting
